I am responsible for ensuring the AGI's operational and business success by executing the AGI Strategy and delivering its objectives that serve our mission to maximise the use of geographic information (GI) for the benefit of the citizen, good governance and commerce. As guardian of our processes, I have a close interest in the AGI operating in a professional and efficient manner. I also seek to ensure that our transparency policy is followed and that we have full engagement with our members. I have an excellent team working with me, well experienced in delivering services and value to our members and dedicated to the cause of our organisation. From a GI background, I have 19 years experience in the public and private sector in the UK and abroad. | | Chief Operating Officer - Alan Wilks +44 (0) 20 7036 0433 alan.wilks@agi.org.uk I am responsible for both administration and finance within the AGI. The former covers the day to day operations, organisational matters, overseeing the AGI website and generally delivering services to our members as effectively as possible. The latter includes financial controls, production of management accounts, monitoring budgets and ensuring properly-audited statutory accounts. I represent AGI on various committees and liaise as best I can with AGI Council and our various membership groups. Above all, it is my role to ensure that the AGI, as a not-for-profit organisation pursues its objectives within a framework of managed risk and within set budgets. | | |

| Finance Officer - Maureen Nessling +44 (0) 20 7036 0435 maureen.nessling@agi.org.uk I joined the AGI in October 2005 having previously worked at the Royal Festival Hall as office supervisor for 18 years. I am responsible for the banking of all income, the inputting and payment of all purchase ledger invoices, reconciling the company bank accounts. I also deal with membership, invoicing queries, renewals and new member applications. |

| Technical Officer - Robert Turner +44 (0) 20 7036 0437 robert.turner@agi.org.uk I am responsible for implementing the technical and online delivery of AGI's services, and managing the organisation's IT infrastructure. I also ensure the successful delivery of the Gigateway Services Operating Plan. My responsibilities include managing the gigateway finances and promoting the service to both users and data providers. I also maintain the AGI and gigateway web sites. |

I also perform various tasks for the AGI Team and have particular experience of GI in Local Government and GIS implementation and management. |
