'Promoting the benefits of Land & Property information through knowledge sharing and collaborative working.'

The Land & Property SIG is all about 'location, location, location' and will inevitably cross paths and interact with all the other AGI Special Interest Groups. LPSIG was re-established in late 2013 and agreed to adopt the above Mission Statement which was defined by the previous group.

The scope of the LPSIG covers the following Themes and Activities;

  • BIM & CAD v GIS
  • Urban Space Use
  • Skills - analytical & cartography

The LPSIG target audiences and sectors are:

  • Housing Associations
  • Public Land Owners
  • Energy Companies
  • Utility Companies
  • Planners
  • Architects
  • Consulting Engineers
  • Data Providers
  • Software Developers
  • Surveyors/UAV Operators

The LPSIG has yet to formalise a Committee and welcomes any members who wish to be involved. At present the key members of the LPSIG are:
