AGI Groups are a hub of connections, reaching out with links to wider partnerships and industry engagement. AGI Groups bring individuals and organisations together in a forum to discuss common interests and industry critical issues; act to influence and inform, and provide support to AGI Members.
AGI Groups include the National Groups (AGI Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales), Regional Groups (South West, Northern, London, Midlands & East of England), Special Interest Groups and the Action Working Groups, with a particular work focus from AGI Council.
AGI Groups are entirely run by volunteer members and are self-organising - they are critical to the success of the AGI as a voice for the membership. Volunteering for an AGI Group helps further the work of the AGI, in addition to providing an opportunity for your own career development, superb networking opportunities and personal satisfaction. There are a variety of ways to get involved, not only from direct activity on the group, but also in support areas such as speaking at or helping to organise an event, contributing to a working paper or maybe hosting a meeting or event.
All AGI Groups are regularly invited to feed contributions to AGI Council. This includes keeping Council up to date with industry issues and feeding member contributions into the AGI at a strategic level.
