AGI Council 2010 - Election results are announced

Voting for the 4 vacant places on the 2010 AGI Council has closed and all the votes have been counted.

The results are as follows for the nominated candidates:

1.  Robert Barr = 96
2. Lars Calvert = 87
3. Pam Dowell = 36
4. Marc Hobell = WITHDRAWN
5. Anne Kemp = 50
6. Jon Marshall = 88
7. Mike Saunt = 39
8. Gesche Schmid = 87
9. Peter Ter Haar = 45

Total number of spoilt voting papers = 1

Total accepted votes = 528

This means that the four candidates listed below are now elected to serve for 3 years as members of the AGI Council from 1st January 2010.

1. Robert Barr
2. Lars Calvert
3. Jon Marshall
4. Gesche Schmid

The number of votes cast during this election exceeded last year's total by over 36%.
