AGI publishes AGI GeoCommunity '11 delegate feedback report

Following a questionnaire polling delegates who attended AGI GeoCommunity '11 the AGI has published a report which summarises the key findings.

In total the AGI received 116 complete and authenticated responses. This figure equates to 26% of delegates and is slightly above response levels encountered in previous years.

Of particular significance was our finding that those who responded were very positive about East Midlands Conference Centre as a venue, with 97% stating that it was ‘good’ or ‘excellent’.

In addition nearly 90% of those who responded believed the conference fully met their expectations.

Regarding value for money, the overwhelming message was affirmative with 40% saying ‘yes, very much so’. Another 57% of those responding said ‘yes, it was reasonably priced’.

More about AGI GeoCommunity '11

450 delegates converged to make 2011 another AGI GeoCommunity success story.

With two days of conference content comprising 3 distinct sessions of plenary speakers, 5 parallel streams of presentations, 8 'hands-on' training slots, 2 workshops, an Open Data debate, the 'soapbox' session of lightning pitches/georants, the exhibition, the icebreaker and the AGI Party, there really was something for everyone and all at a lower delegate price than in 2010.

The AGI would like to thank all who sponsored, supported and attended this marvellous event and helped make it a success.
