AGI Council Elections for the year 2013 

An election is being held to fill six (6) seats on AGI Council that will become vacant at the end of 2012.

To vote you must be a paid-up, current member of the AGI. You will need to enter your name and membership number for verification purposes when voting. If you have lost your membership number please contact AGI on 020 7347 5640 or email info@agi.org.uk.

Eight (8) candidates have been nominated. Because the number of nominations received has exceeded the number of places available, an election will now be held from Monday 5th November and Noon on Friday 16th November 2012.

The eight (8) candidates are listed below:

1) NICK AUSTIN, Independent, (Prop: S. Feldman; Sec: S. Eglinton)

2) EMMA BEE, British Geological Survey (Prop: J. Marshall; Sec: R. Home)

3) MIKE COOPER, Leica Geosystems (Prop: A. Baker; Sec: A. Coote)

4) CHRIS HOLCROFT, Royal Meteorological Society (Prop: D. Henderson; Sec: A. Trigg)

5) ABIGAIL PAGE, Central Scotland Forest Trust (Prop: A. Coote; Sec: H. Barron)

6) JAMES REID, EDINA, University of Edinburgh (Prop: H. Barron; Sec: A. Ramage)

7) ANGHARAD STONE, Environment Agency (Prop: J. Marshall; Sec: D. Henderson)

8) GRAHAM WALLACE, Esri UK Ltd (Prop: A. Baker; Sec: S. Bonthrine)

THE VOTING METHODS

1) BY POST: The POSTAL BALLOT form is available HERE. Simply print out, fill in and return by post.

2) ELECTRONICALLY: To vote online electronically the link is HERE.

The AGI Team will be carefully checking all votes received to ensure that they are valid, unspoiled and are not duplicated.

Please take the time to vote in the AGI Council Election. This has been made easier than ever for the convenience of AGI members and gives you the chance to select those candidates who you think can best serve and help shape the AGI.
