GIS for Insurance - New AGI Case Study

This article shows how the the insurance industry uses geographical information to better determine risk. Geographical Information Systems (GIS) are used:

  • For claims management to work-out which claims are legitimate and which are not, following for example a flood event.
  • To provide more accurate insurance quotes for potential customers.
