As guardian of our processes, I have a close interest in the AGI operating in a professional and efficient manner. I also seek to ensure that our transparency policy is followed and that we have full engagement with our members. I have an excellent team working with me, well experienced in delivering services and value to our members and dedicated to the cause of our organisation. From a GI background, I have 21 years experience in the public and private sector in the UK and overseas. Graduating in Geography from the London School of Economics, I am a Chartered Geographer (GIS) a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (RGS) and a Member of the Institute of Directors (IOD).

I am responsible for both administration and finance within the AGI. The former covers organisational matters and generally delivering services to our members as effectively as possible. The latter includes financial controls, production of management accounts, monitoring budgets and ensuring properly-audited statutory accounts. I represent AGI on various committees and liaise as best I can with AGI Council and our various membership groups. Above all, it is my role to ensure that the AGI, as a not-for-profit organisation pursues its objectives within a framework of managed risk and within set budgets.
