Some GI links
Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 15:55 It's been a while since we've had an update from the Local Public Services SIG so just a quick update on some of the GI related links that have popped up in the last few weeks. These vary with a broad set of topics from planned changes to the PSMA, copies of the presentations from the Share to save LPS event, to the full report on the Value of Geospatial Information from the LGA.
These are just a sample of some of the reports, presentations and plans that have become publicly available and they are potentially very useful in shaping and informing public services GI policy nationally.
If there are any others that are missing, please add them to the blog. And don't forget to follow us on Twitter (@agilpssig).
As Graham mentioned in the last blog post, these are interesting times in the Public Sector. The more we can demonstrate and utilise spatial intelligence and analysis for better public service delivery, the more we can influence best parctice in our various industries.
Enjoy!
Hendrik
