GGP Systems Offers Public Sector Cost Savings with New Payment Plan

Croydon, UK, 01 October 2010 – In a move to address  spending cuts and boost efficiency in the UK public sector, geographic  information systems (GIS) and gazetteer management software supplier GGP Systems  is introducing a “ new way to pay” for all new purchases, allowing its customers  to spread the cost of their software over a three or five year period.  GGP  Systems hopes the introduction of its “new way to pay”, called FlexiPay, will  ease the budget pressures being faced by many organisations while still enabling councils and emergency services organisations to reap the rewards of innovative software designed to improve efficiency in the public sector.

“Our  customers are telling us this is what they need,” commented Tim Maxwell,  Managing Director of GGP Systems. “The use of geographical information systems  and corporate address databases is fundamental in the drive to improve  efficiency and reduce costs. FlexiPay makes it easier for organisations to get  hold of the latest innovations ensuring they can make savings and improve  service levels from the word go.”

FlexiPay is available to all new  customers of the company’s award winning gazetteer management solutions and  geographic information systems software.

It is also available to existing  customers purchasing new products. The FlexiPay option combines the software  purchase price with the annual maintenance costs for the selected term and  spreads them evenly across a three or five year period, with customers being  offered the option to pay monthly, quarterly or annually.

One  local authority software purchaser commented, “At a time when every department  is facing increased demands on decreased budgets it is sometimes difficult to  make the initial investment in a new solution – even when you know it’s going to  save money in the end. Being able to spread the costs over a longer period of  time effectively gives us 0% finance, which means we can balance our spending  and stay within budget.”

GGP Systems specialises  in GIS and gazetteer management solutions specifically designed for the UK  public sector. The South London based company provides easy to use software for  the creation and management of corporate property databases, the ability to add  and use a spatial element to all location based information and a range of  solutions to meet t-Government directives and the drive towards shared  services.
