GIS Developer Community gather at ESRI UK DeveloperHub Conference
ArcGIS 10 software unveiled
10 February 2010 - ESRI UK yesterday held its 2010 DeveloperHub Conference at the ICC Centre in Birmingham, bringing together software developers from across the UK to discuss progress in the use of GIS to build and deploy spatially enhanced applications for desktop, mobile and the internet.
An audience twice the size of that which attended last year's inaugural conference received presentations from ESRI UK specialists including CTO Charles Kennelly, who demonstrated the development opportunities presented by the new ESRI ArcGIS 10 technology for the first time. The event also saw guest speakers from Dundee City Council and Scottish Natural Heritage present the ways in which they have mashed up ESRI UK technology to great effect.
The event catered for developers of all levels and offered a training showcase for those wanting to improve their knowledge of ArcGIS developer tools. The conference also gave developers the chance to receive advice and tips on developing with ArcGIS from leading ESRI UK experts.
