ACTIVE's Business Development Manager for Education, Andy Durman was delighted to be invited to present to over 30 delegates from 26 institutions at the Higher Education Market Research Forum at the London School of Economics last week. With a topic of 'Geographic analysis in HE market research', the hour long presentation was well received with much resulting discussions following.

Four case studies looked at Northumbria University, London South Bank University, Southampton Solent University, West Kent and South Kent Colleges at length, with regards to how ACTIVE has helped support these clients in marketing initiatives in order to understand their markets, make the most of competition and competitive advantage, targeted marketing and how to benefit from employer engagement.

ACTIVE discussed how a targeted approach will reduce costs, increase income and enable measurement of campaign outcomes. HE organisations were informed about how ACTIVE clients have benefited from a maximised return on investment and how geographic analysis can provide a visual and joined up approach to developing market intelligence.
