GO Publisher creates the first derived data set from OS OpenData

Ian Painter, Managing Director at Snowflake Software (and self confessed techie), used the company's free GO Publisher Community Edition tool to create the first derived data set.

Using GO Publisher, Ian mashed OS Code-Point Open with the WOEIDs of Yahoo! GeoPlanet Data and created a derived product in KML.

To find out more information including exactly how Ian achieved this and to see the data visualised in Google Earth please visit the blog: http://blogs.snowflakesoftware.com/news/2010/04/first-derived-dataset-from-os-open-data.htm.

Additionally, we've made the first cut sample data available for comment via the blog.
