Cadcorp announces four new hires

UK GIS software developer recruits to meet new demands for efficiency savings

Stevenage, Herts. 14th January 2011 – The UK based developer and supplier of GIS and web mapping software, Cadcorp, continues to reinforce its market position with four new appointments.

The company’s continued investment in GIS is underlined by the appointment to its UK sales team of Ian Robinson and Chris Rose.  Ian comes with a successful track record of GIS sales to the civil engineering and business mapping sectors. Chris has considerable experience in both direct and channel sales in the emergency services and local authorities and public sector markets. Meanwhile, the core development team will benefit from the different perspectives brought by Chu Hoang who is an experienced gaming software developer; and Kishor Boddu who joins from a leading UK supplier of aerial photography, and will be focusing on application development and web mapping.

“We are pleased to welcome such talented individuals to our team” said Mike O’Neil, CEO, Cadcorp.  “Cadcorp has built its reputation on providing open and standards based geospatial technology. The new positions in the development team will help us develop these strengths further, while the additions to our sales team should help us in communicating our message to a wider audience.”
