Leeds City Council - Request for Information (GIS)

Leeds City Council has identified a requirement to review the future direction for GIS to deliver across a range of services and requirements, including public access.  As a result, the Council has recognized the need for a GIS that performs efficiently, is fit for purpose and perhaps most importantly, provides value for money.  Leeds City Council are looking for market support to help inform our strategy and business case which may lead to further opportunities.

To help the Council understand how it can achieve these goals, it is undertaking a Request for Information (RFI).  A RFI is not a procurement process and the Council must stress that there is no guarantee of future work, although Leeds City Council is very keen on improving the implementation of GIS.

Any information provided from the RFI will help to inform the Council's GIS business case and options appraisal for future GIS provision.  Leeds City Council wishes to thank any company or person in advance for responding to this enquiry.  The closing date for completed RFI's is 12 noon on Friday, the 28th January 2011.
