Innogistic Awarded a Place on New Government Procurement Service Framework Agreement.

Innogistic has been awarded a place on the new ‘Local Government Software Application Solutions’ framework agreement. This pre-qualified procurement agreement is instigated and administered by the Government Procurement Service (formally Buying Solutions), an executive agency of the Cabinet Office, whose overall priority is to provide procurement savings for the UK Public Sector as a whole and specifically to deliver centralised procurement for Central Government Departments.
Innogistic, the Bristol based independent software developer, has won its place under Lot 10 of the agreement; ‘Planning related Software Application Solutions’. This means that public sector customers are now able to obtain Innogistic’s advanced portfolio of solutions including planning systems, e-consultation systems, gazetteer management and GIS, through Government Procurement Service’s streamlined procurement channels. Innogistic already holds a place on the existing Government Procurement Service GISS framework agreement, which covers the procurement of Geographic Information Solutions and Services.
Dan Ormsby, Innogistic's Commercial Director said: “We are very proud to have been awarded yet another place on a Government Procurement Service framework agreement. Being a part of these agreements makes the whole procurement process so much more efficient for both the public sector and its suppliers, which is a really key issue in the current economic climate. Our advanced solutions have a very good reputation and are already bringing significant cost and efficiency benefits to many authorities and public services across the country. With our winning this new place, our existing and future public sector customers can now obtain our solutions via a much more efficient procurement channel. We are looking forward to working with Government Procurement Service, and helping more Public Sector Organisations achieve these benefits in the future.”
The new Framework Agreement comes into effect on 28th July 2011.
