Aligned Assets’ Events and Training Receive AGI Accreditation

Woking, Surrey 2^nd September 2010 – Gazetteer specialists Aligned Assets are pleased to announce that both their upcoming BS7666 training courses and November’s Gazetteer Best Practice Day, ‘One Wales – One Voice’ have been accredited by the AGI (Association for Geographic Information).

BS7666 Training Courses Announced By Aligned Assets

Woking, Surrey 19^th August 2010 – Gazetteer specialists Aligned Assets can today announce two brand new BS7666 training courses.

During the month of November 2010, one day courses in ‘An Introduction to BS7666’ and ‘BS7666 for Developers’ will be run from their offices in Surrey.

An Introduction to BS7666 is designed for those unfamiliar with BS7666 but who will be affected by its implications.  Those attending will gain an insight into all the important BS7666 legislation that is underpinning change within Local Authorities, the Police and the Fire & Rescue Service.  It is ideal for anyone in the public or private sector who creates, manages or uses address-based information.

One Wales – One Voice: Aligned Assets Announce Welsh Gazetteer Best Practice Day

Woking, Surrey 12^th August 2010 – Following on from the success of previous events, gazetteer specialists Aligned Assets can today announce the next date in its popular series of Gazetteer Best Practice Days.

Specifically for the Welsh Gazetteer community, this best practice day will be held at the Media Resource Centre in Llandrindod on 2^nd November 2010 and will see presentations from local authorities, the emergency services and the Welsh Assembly Government.
