Cadcorp GIS selected by Jersey Fire and Rescue Service

Incident Support Mapping System (ISMS) chosen for ease of use

Stevenage, 5th January, 2011 – Jersey Fire and Rescue Service has selected Cadcorp’s Incident Support Mapping System (ISMS) for deployment in their Command Support Unit. The solution is already deployed in a number of UK fire and rescue services, where it provides a simple and intuitive means of managing resources at major incidents.

MIS Active partners with Cadcorp to meet the mapping needs of the social housing sector

Cadcorp’s GIS and web mapping technology brings a spatial dimension to the ActiveH solution

Stevenage, 16th December 2010 – GIS and web mapping software developer Cadcorp has been selected by MIS Active Management Systems to provide mapping and geographic information processing capabilities for its modular housing management solution – ActiveH. The partnership which was announced last month at the IT in Housing Exhibition, Olympia, London, brings together two British software suppliers with a common vision – to help organisations better share the information that they manage.

Cadcorp based technology selected by Brussels Region to model transmitter mast radiation

Geomod and CSTB  application maps public exposure to electronic waves

Stevenage, 16th December 2010. – Cadcorp’ s business partner for French-speaking countries – Geomod - has received a significant endorsement for its MITHRA-REM application, based on Cadcorp SIS technology. The application for predicting public exposure to electromagnetic waves generated by mobile antennae is now used by four main mobile telecommunications operators in the Brussels region. The application is the latest product in a successful partnership between Geomod and the prestigious French Centre for Scientific and Technical Research in Construction (CSTB), and builds on earlier collaboration on acoustic modelling.

Avon Information Management and Technology Consortium launches ‘HealthGIS Maps’

Cadcorp SIS provides wider access to health data

Stevenage, 10th December 2010 – NHS AIMTC (Avon Information Management and Technology Consortium) HealthGIS has launched a new intranet mapping service to Primary Care Trust (PCT) clients in Avon, using Cadcorp GeognoSIS and Cadcorp SIS Map Modeller. This new service - known as ‘HealthGIS Maps’ - has successfully delivered against its first project milestone, providing Pharmaceutical Needs Assessments for Avon PCTs.
