Municipality of Groningen selects GIS and web mapping solution based on Cadcorp technology

Vicrea’s Neuron Property Registration System is now used by 180 municipalities

Stevenage, 30th November 2010 – Cadcorp Partner, Vicrea Solutions B.V. continues its success in local government with the decision by the municipality of Groningen to deploy Vicrea’s Neuron Property Registration System (BAG),  based on Cadcorp’ web mapping and GIS technology. The solution will be used to comply with the ‘Nederlandse Overheid Referentie Architectuur’ (NORA) – the Dutch Government Reference Architecture.  NORA is positioned as a first step in an eGovernment vision that will mean a more efficient, less bureaucratic administration capable of delivering high quality public services.
