GGP Systems Launches Mail Merge Spatial Tool

Croydon, UK, 07 July 2010 – UK local authorities can now instantly pinpoint and contact all residents affected by road closures, floods or health hazards following the development of an innovative solution by GGP Systems. The company has combined computer mapping and property ID technology to create address lists allowing instant mail merges for notification or consultation letters and other direct communications. The new software saves council staff time when communicating with local residents and businesses as it uses a spatial search to easily and quickly identify and select address data.

GGP Geographic Information System Saves Public Money 

Croydon, UK, 21 April 2010 – GGP Systems has announced a cost saving innovation that gives councils the ability to save millions of pounds of public money.  Aimed at local authorities that deliver a wide range of services and are struggling to reduce spending, the latest version of GGP’s Geographic Information System (GIS) allows centralised ‘datastores’ to be employed. This cuts out data duplication and with it the administrative resources required to maintain multiple datasets, improves access to accurate and up to date information and will ultimately deliver significant improvements in operational efficiency.

GGP Software Helps Blaby Transform Council Geo-Data

Croydon, UK, 23 March 2010 - Blaby District Council has transformed the quality and currency of address records following the implementation of gazetteer management software from GGP Systems. Since the introduction of GGP NGz the Council has leapt a staggering 273 places in performance ratings and was recently presented with an award for 'Most Improved' at a national awards ceremony. The database - the Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG) - will now be used to provide an up to date, accurate and consistent address for every household in the Leicestershire authority helping improve the delivery of a range of frontline services.

GGP Software Underpins Award Winning Local Authorities

Blaby Council was presented with an award for the 'Most Improved' performing NLPG authority while Tandridge Council received the newly created 'Ministry of Justice Award for the Best Implementation of the Electoral Registration Data Standard'. Blackpool Council received the award for Most Effective LSG and StreetWorks Integration highlighting their pioneering approach to asset management and web mapping - the fourth year Blackpool Council has received recognition at these awards. Other users of GGP software to receive recognition included Ribble Valley as the 'Best in the North West region'.
