| Event Start date: 20 Oct 2006 |

Address Ordnance Survey Business Centre Southampton
Why? To bring together technical members from each of the supporting organisations (AGI, OGC and BCS) to collaborate and exchange ideas on the dynamic mixing of geospatial content. We want to create a buzz about the potential value of geospatial mash-ups and understand how we can work together to realise that future.
Who? The event is primarily targeted at the leading thinkers in the GI industry - including those from commercial and non-commercial standpoints. The audience will encompass both those with a strong technical perspective and those with wider strategic vision and market foresight. Initially invitations to participate will be circulated to the supporting organisations, but we would like to keep the event as open to as wide an audience as possible.
What? The purpose of the event is to gain a cross-organisational perspective on how geospatial content can be dynamically combined and used for new applications. Specifically, the concept of geospatial mash-ups is increasingly being discussed, but is not widely understood in our community. This event is designed to bring together the leading experts in the field, and to learn from them how the approach could be more widely applied across the GI industry
