1Spatial Confirmed as Silver Sponsor of The Police Digital Summit 2021

Cambridge, UK, 18th January 2021,1Spatial, the global geospatial and location software and solutions company, is delighted to be a Silver Sponsor of the Digital Police Summit 2021, taking place between 2nd and 4th February.

The Police Digital Summit is an annual event bringing the UK policing community together to learn from each other and discuss how technology can be used to enable transformational reform in policing.

In addition to sponsoring the conference, Phill Ridley, 1Spatial’s Senior Business Development Consultant, will be running a breakout session ‘Ensuring Location Data is a Digital Enabler’ on 3rd February. Phill will draw attention to the importance of high-quality address and location data for improving the efficiency and accuracy of various policing activities including beat patrols and crime prevention.

Providing a policing perspective, Teresa Ashforth from the Home Office and Nick Lynn from Avon and Somerset Police will be co-hosts. This presentation will cover the positive impacts and benefits of using high quality location data on policing, and how 1Spatial tools are used to measure and improve its location quality, featuring a project with Avon and Somerset Police.

Phill Ridley commented: “Location is the corner stone of policing and therefore it is vital that police forces have location data that is complete, current and interoperable between departments within a force and other organisations.  We are very proud of the success achieved working with Avon and Somerset Police and we look forward to sharing this experience with the wider police community at the Police Digital Summit”.

Our technology enables you to take control of your geospatial data quality, by implementing automated rules, to manage and validate your location data. Our Police Location Data Quality Hub offers a range of applications that address common data issues within police forces, enabling police forces to ensure they are using good quality location data and ultimately, give officers the confidence in the data they are using for decision-making.

We look forward to networking with you virtually at the event. If you would like to find out more or book a meeting with Phill prior to the event, please contact us
