Discover how professional bodies support geospatial skills development and recognition

Supporting the Great Skills Shift: professional development pathways and accreditation with the RGS

The geospatial sector is facing changing skills needs, with growing demand for clear development pathways, professional recognition and visible career progression. This AGI Education and Skills webinar will explore how the Royal Geographical Society’s work in professional practice, accreditation and community engagement can support individuals, employers and the wider profession.

This session, from 12:00-13:00 on Tuesday 3 November supports AGI’s wider Education and Skills agenda and the Foresight Report 2030 theme of the “Great Skills Shift”, by looking at practical ways that professional bodies can help develop, recognise and connect geospatial practitioners.

Whether attendees are early in their career, established professionals, educators, employers or others interested in developing geospatial capability, this webinar will provide insight into how RGS activity can contribute to professional development and the wider skills agenda.

Featuring Liz Fox-Tucker and Alice Wilson from the RGS Professional and Policy Team.
