The AGI EO Network meetup on 14th May proved what a vibrant geocommunity we have in and around Bristol! We welcomed over 40 attendees including many AGI first-timers at the great venue that is the Engine Shed where we enjoyed a mix of case studies of using EO data to inform policyy, examples of EO data in use from a variety of sensor platforms (it’s not just satellites!), proof that Ai agents can run complex EO data processing tasks and a thought provoking insight into where to draw the line in how much trust to place in imagery form space.
At the AGI EO Network we always like to include updates on what’s happening in industry, and we had an update on EO Data Hub, as well as the good news that Bristol will be hosting FOSS4G 2027 next August! Our Early Careers Network shared their calendar of upcoming events over hhe next few months which is looking really exciting.
With thanks to CGI and NV5 for sponsoring the geodrinks that we enjoyed during networking!
