About the AGI Local Government Network

The AGI Local Government Network exists to bring together GIS professionals across local authorities to build a strong, inclusive community that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the adoption of best practice.

Its purpose is to strengthen geospatial capability within local government by supporting skills development, providing practical resources, and creating opportunities for learning and partnership. The network also seeks to raise the profile of geospatial within the sector and advocate for the needs and priorities of local government in the wider geospatial community.
