This year's event will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Edinburgh’s historic and atmospheric Royal Mile (just a short walk from Waverley Station and easily accessible by bus and tram) on Tuesday 25th February 2020.
With sustainability and climate change-related issues making the news on an almost daily basis, the theme for our next AGI Scotland conference is “Sustainable Scotland”.
Sarah Jane Laing, CEO of Scottish Land and Estates (SLE), will discuss the work of SLE in relation to sustainable land management and the importance of data to inform, develop and monitor policy.
Nick Green, Director, Head of Energy and Infrastructure at Savills, will discuss the critical role of geospatial data in the lifecycle of renewable energy projects.
Ian White, GIS Manager for the Woodland Trust, will discuss the fundamental importance of geospatial data and services to every aspect of the Trust’s operation, especially to planting and conserving native woodlands in response to climate change.
Have a topic that you would like to present at our conference? Submit your idea or expression of interest to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 13 December.
