The Association of Geographic Information’s Early Careers Network have joined forces with the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) to invite those who are in the early stages of their geospatial and geographic information careers to join a webinar focused on the role of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

A short presentation from the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) will explore:

  • The role of CPD in geospatial careers, from building your skills and knowledge to growing your network
  • The benefits of taking a reflective approach, using CPD to inform career planning in a structured way
  • Useful hints and tips for making the most of a range of career development activities.

Small break-out groups led by geospatial professionals will allow you to ask questions and learn from colleagues at a range of career stages. The group will then reconvene to compare, share and summarise these discussions. You will have the opportunity to ask questions in the breakout discussions.
