At this workshop, we'll hear from the ODI, the Open Data User Group, and the Open Data Camp UK (odcamp.org.uk), and we'd like to hear from you too. We'll have key people from W3C, the Open Geospatial Consortium, the British Standards Institution, and the government's Open Standards Board.
We plan to identify specific actions that will make it easier to use location and geographic open data sets together with other open data - whether that's encouraging the use of existing standards, or fixing the standards to work.
Confirmed speakers are Bob Barr (Open Data User Group), Jeni Tennyson (Open Data Institute), Linda Humphries (Government Digital Service), Phil Archer (W3C), and myself, Peter Parslow, (British Standards Institution).
Registration details can be found here.
