Who:

Our Python for QGIS course is for delegates who already have experience with the
Python programming language and wish to learn what expressions can be used within
QGIS, as well as how and when they can be used.

What:

This course assumes some previous knowledge of Python and a basic familiarity with
QGIS. It covers using Python to interact with and extend QGIS.

The course covers the following topics:
● Brief introduction to QGIS
● An introduction to PyQGIS
● Python Expressions
● Using the QGIS Python console
● Exploring the PyQGIS API
● Plugins
● Writing a Processing plugin

When:

Python for QGIS is a 1 day course running on the 27th of June from 9:30am until
5:00pm.

Training will take place at Lockside Meeting Rooms on 5, Scotland Street, Lockside,
Birmingham, B1 2RR, just a 15 minute walk from Birmingham new street Station.
