We invite submissions of 500 word abstracts describing current research on any topic within GI Science.
Submissions on any topic are welcomed. However, ones that reflect the central theme in Pete’s research
- Representation - are particularly encouraged. Pete was concerned with the disconnect between the feature
(object, behaviour) and its representation (Geoslavery, whose voice matters? Uncertainty, Fuzzy sets
what are the characteristics of the feature? Pixel, Helvellyn, what additional constraints do we put ourselves
under by the way we represent the feature?) Pete posed some big questions and his papers are frequently
cited. But have we made any progress towards answering them? Selected contributions will form a
special issue in IJGIS.
