GeoCom19 : Hitting Net Zero
Applying geospatial to global challenges
Thank you to all delegates who attended this year's annual conference. Be sure to check out a recap of the day's topic.
The UK has committed to hitting net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. The AGI was established 30 years ago, during which time we've seen rapid development, the adoption of geospatial technologies, and the warmest period on Earth in at least eight centuries.
As we look ahead to 2050, the next 30 years will require an unprecedented transformation in all areas of life - from the management of our infrastructure, mobility and even our health systems. As poet & novelist Margaret Atwood wrote: “It’s not climate change, it’s everything change”. At this event, we will investigate the opportunities and contributions that geospatial can make to lead the change, from local to global initiatives.
We are pleased to present our agenda.
If you are looking to network with key influencers, refresh your expertise and share your views on the next 30 years of geospatial technology development in the UK, you won’t want to miss #GeoCom2019!
Your annual conference is the chance for all with an interest in capitalising on the value of geospatial information to convene, connect and collaborate on the most important opportunities and challenges in the industry.
Inspiration. Insight. Influence.
