Each year, we invite you – as a member of the AGI – to tell us who you think deserves to be recognised for their work in our industry.
Jamie Justham, Founder of Dotted Eyes, won The AGI Award for Career Achievement in GI in 2016
We’ll be presenting 'The AGI Award for Career Achievement in GI' at the end of #GeoCom17 on Thursday 26th October 2017 (and hope to see you there - you'll find more information and booking details here).
If there’s someone you’d like to nominate, we’d like to hear from you. Nominations should include the person's name, the organisation they work (or have worked) for, and a brief explanation of the reason why the person should be considered.
As a summary:
"This prestigious award is given to a person who has made a significant long-term contribution to geospatial. Nominations are judged according to the contributions and commitment this person has made to advancing geospatial over a sustained period of time – more than 10 years."
The AGI Chair’s Award for Outstanding Service to the AGI
As a membership association, the hard work and dedication of our members is central to a vibrant geocommunity with purpose. The AGI Chair’s Award will be nominated this year by Abigail Page: it recognises someone who has made an outstanding contribution to the work of the AGI specifically, furthering our aims and promoting our work.
