SUMMARY:EEO-AGIS Seminar: Wed 18th Feb\, Zoё Fleming
DESCRIPTION:Our next EEO-AGIS speaker will be Dr. Zoё Fleming\, from Univ
 ersidad del Desarrollo\, Santiago\, Chile. Zoё will be talking about some
  of the citizen science environmental monitoring projects that she has bee
 n involved with in Chile. In the talk Zoe will show how these projects hav
 e changed\, activated and inspired communities and given them a voice that
  the authorities are starting to listen to. She will also explore how usef
 ul it is for researchers to work with these communities to gather\, interp
 ret and share this data.\n\nThe seminar will take place in Room 2.13 in t
 he Institute of Geography  at 5pm on Wed 18th February\, followed by
  networking drinks in Ox 184.\n\nAs with the last time we used room 2.13\,
  we will be accessing the Institute of Geography via the rear door in High
  School Yards. Students will greet you there and point you in the right di
 rection\, and I have attached a couple of photos below for orientation.
