DESCRIPTION:GISRUK are pleased to announce the 29th Annual GIS Research U
 K (GISRUK) Conference\, which will take place as a fully online event fro
 m Wednesday 14 April to Friday 16 April 2021. The whole conference will 
 be fully open and free (£0) and is hosted by Cardiff University.\n\nGIS
 RUK is the largest academic conference in Geographic Information Science i
 n the UK. Since 1993\, GISRUK has attracted international researchers and 
 practitioners in GIS and cognate fields\, including geography\, computer s
 cience\, data science\, and urban planning to share the latest advances in
  spatial computing and analysis. The conference theme this year is the COV
 ID19 pandemic and will include papers on mapping the spread of the disease
  and on the spatial analysis of its impact on such things as personal mobi
 lity\, social inequalities and the outcomes of interventions such as stay 
 at home orders.\n\nThe conference will host more than 50 research presenta
 tions by international scientists and researchers. The conference presenta
 tions will also include papers in the following areas:\n\n 	Urban Analytic
 s and Smart Cities\n 	Urban infrastructure modelling and the built environ
 ment\n 	Spatial and Spatio-temporal modelling\n 	Cartography and Geovisual
 isation\n 	Volunteered Geographic Information\n 	Applications in transport
 \, economics\, health\, and environmental science\n\nThe conference progra
 mme will be posted on the website and via email to all registered particip
 ants in early April. Conference proceedings of all accepted papers will be
  made available online\n\nAll participants are invited to register for FRE
