My technical background is grounded in a BSc in Geological Hazards from the University of Portsmouth, complemented by professional membership of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (MCInstCES). I currently serve as Chair of the Utilities & Subsurface Mapping Panel and previously chaired the South East branch of the Pipeline Industries Guild. I lead bids and strategic pursuits for complex geospatial and mapping services across major infrastructure programmes—rail, highways, aviation, and renewable energy. With 15 years’ experience across more than 60 countries, I bring a deep understanding of how surveying, GIS and remote sensing enable better planning, design, and delivery of Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects. Day-to-day, I specialise in the management of buried utilities for large linear and complex infrastructure schemes—helping clients reduce risk, improve data certainty, and adopt modern digital approaches to asset information. I’m passionate about connecting geospatial excellence with better decision‑making, safer construction, and more efficient project outcomes.
