The ECN is looking for new committee members!
We are an early career network run entirely by early career professionals. Join our team of volunteers for 2020 and help to plan and organise events, develop regular communication with our members and ensure we provide the best platform for communication and collaboration of early career professionals within the geospatial industry.

Secretary: responsible for managing ECN’s internal and external communications, working closely with AGI contacts and the publicity officer to ensure a quarterly newsletter is sent to the mailing list consistently as well as any additional communications necessary before events etc.
Publicity and social media officer: produce and organise the content to advertise the ECN and its activities, ranging from designing social media and web content to promotional materials such as banners/leaflets. Manage the Twitter and LinkedIn accounts, showcasing members work and facilitating interaction among the community as well as posting any relevant job adverts etc.
Event coordinator(s): Facilitate the organisation and running of the ECN’s main annual events and regional events with responsibilities ranging from booking speakers to ensuring a venue is accessible.
Welsh coordinator: Organise and arrange the ECNs activities within Wales working with the team to keep members engaged with the wider ECN. Will closely liaise with AGI Cymru.
Northern Ireland coordinator: Organise and arrange the ECNs activities within Northern Ireland working with the team to keep members engaged with the wider ECN. Will closely liaise with AGI Northern Ireland.
Additional volunteer(s): Members of the ECN committee who are available to help out across the different areas of the committee's responsibilities when there is high demand, such as in the lead-up to large events. Likely to work closely with event coordinators.
