The Geographic Economy - the Benefits of Investing in Geospatial Technology
Calling all GI users, specialists and experts. AGI Northern Ireland's Annual Event is scheduled for the 11th May 2016 in Riddel Hall, Belfast and we are looking for speakers. Deadline for paper submission is 1st April! (It's no April Fool's joke!)
What to present?
We are looking for original and thought-provoking presentations in the use of GI, user testimonials, industry trends and more.
This year there is particular focus on the challenges of Asset Management and Positional Improvement (PI) to calculating and communicating the Return on Investment (ROI) from GIS technology.
We are also very interested in local examples as well as best practice across the industry.
Speaking slots will be 25 minutes long with 20 minute papers and 5 minutes for questions. Depending on interest, we may also consider running a series of 10 minute lightning talks.
Presentations should try to avoid sales presentations – we find from experience that delegates are not keen on any overtly commercial presentations, so we ask that you please keep any product and commercial references to a minimum.
