In 2015, Informed Solutions were delighted to be chosen by Registers of Scotland (RoS) as their digital transformation partner. Since then, we have worked closely with RoS to shape and deliver an Agile programme to provide a world-leading digital land register for the citizens of Scotland, which also positions RoS at the very forefront of Scotland’s “digital future” strategy.
Adopting the latest continuous integration and deployment practices, new services have been regularly rolled out into the business, legacy systems decommissioned and a continuous data improvement project undertaken to ensure RoS’ data is ‘digitally ready’. Over the last 18-20 months, the Informed team has developed a number of world-class data and mapping products and services. Equally importantly, through a combination of co-location, co-design and co-build, we have helped RoS strengthen its internal capabilities so it now has the skills and confidence to transition this large digital transformation programme into Business as Usual.
Key achievements this partnership with RoS has proudly delivered, include a modern suite of addressing and mapping services, which greatly improve the efficiency of maintaining the registers, and improvements to the critical datasets maintained by RoS, which underpin Scotland’s economy and lay the foundation for future value-added digital services.
RoS CEO, Sheenagh Adams, Keeper of the Registers of Scotland, commenting on their partnership with Informed said; “Working with Informed Solutions on our business transformation programme over the last 18 months or so has been a great experience for RoS, resulting in numerous successes. Informed are world leaders in their particular field and this has been a major factor in bringing us to the point where we can take this programme forward ourselves with confidence. We are extremely grateful for their important contribution.”
Informed’s UK CEO, Seth Finegan, added; “At Informed, we have very much enjoyed being part of RoS’ digital transformation programme. Our global expertise in transformation programmes, particularly those involving mapping and big data analytics, have enabled us to deliver key elements of a programme that will that will not only deliver a world leading digital register for the citizens of Scotland, but will position RoS at the very forefront of Scotland’s “digital future” strategy. We are proud of our joint-achievements and are delighted to hand over the programme to RoS in such good health.”
