G-Cloud 10 includes “The Magnificent Seven” from Europa Technologies

Europa Technologies is delighted to announce it has successfully registered seven cloud-based services on G-Cloud 10, the latest cloud procurement framework for UK Public Sector organisations.

In addition to supporting Ordnance Survey data for Great Britain, viaEuropa now includes data options for Ordnance Survey Northern Ireland (from Land & Property Services), British Geological Survey, JBA Risk Management and OceanWise. For the first time, there is an opportunity to obtain these datasets through G-Cloud, providing a time-saving ‘one-stop-shop’ solution for clients who need to license products for use within viaEuropa services.

Completely new for G-Cloud 10 is the new viaEuropa Address API, enabling high-performance address lookups using OS AddressBase. The viaEuropa Address API is ideal for organisations looking to easily integrate address-level search and geocoding into their applications. In addition, the Network Insight mobile coverage mapping solution also comes to G-Cloud for the first time.

Duncan Hill, Business Development Director, comments, “We are delighted to have been successful in registering a record number of services for the launch of G-Cloud 10. This reflects the success of viaEuropa in previous versions of the framework and demonstrates the continued appetite for geospatial services that are simple to procure and easy to implement. We look forward to working with new and existing clients as they move to G-Cloud 10 over the coming months.”

Award-winning services from Europa Technologies have been available on the framework since G-Cloud 3 and have proved popular with UK government departments, local authorities and emergency services alike, allowing these organisations to consume data as a service consistently, efficiently and economically.
viaEuropa is an ideal service for members of the Public Sector Mapping Agreement (PSMA), One Scotland Mapping Agreement (OSMA) and the Northern Ireland Mapping Agreement (NIMA). Members of these central agreements can utilise their respective entitlement to Ordnance Survey and Ordnance Survey Northern Ireland data.

Services from Europa Technologies can be found on the Digital Marketplace, the home of G-Cloud 10, here: https://www.digitalmarketplace.service.gov.uk/g-cloud
