Cambridge, UK – May 3, 2025 – 1Spatial is excited to announce the latest enhancements to the 1Spatial Platform, designed to help our customers stay ahead of the competition and meet the ever-evolving demands of their users. These updates focus on scalability, faster configuration and deployment, new features to cater to diverse user needs, and enhanced security.
Scaling to Meet Growing Demands
Our customers are increasingly managing complex data supply chains. Where a single instance of our solution once serviced tens of organizations, it now supports hundreds, with thousands of individual users relying on the 1Spatial Platform. For example, the National Underground Asset Register (NUAR) in the UK involves over 650 organizations supplying data. Similarly, statewide deployments in the US require data from dozens of counties and hundreds of cities to build a unified data source. The 1Spatial Platform (with its component products of the 1Integrate rules engine and 1Data Gateway portal) is the heartbeat of these organizations, ensuring the safe flow and automated aggregation of data to drive their digital transformation and AI strategies.
Enhanced Flexibility and Automation
1Data Gateway administrators can now apply different context data to each data supplier in multi-tenancy projects, offering greater flexibility and reducing configuration effort. Additionally, we have introduced automation improvements for scheduled data submissions and Docker image support for Microsoft Azure Application Insights, enabling better monitoring of application usage.
Advancing AI and Digital Twins
The increasing demand for AI and digital twins is driving organizations to seek higher fidelity views of the world. In the GIS sector, this translates to a growing need for 3D data and the integration of GIS and non-GIS data. 1Integrate has expanded its capabilities to read 3D data from thousands of formats from the FME Flow Data Store. It now also reports on features with True Curves in their geometries and can export non-spatial features to GeoPackage attribute tables, ensuring better adherence to open-source standards for non-spatial data.
These enhancements underscore our commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions that empower our customers to stay ahead in a rapidly changing landscape.
Bob Chell, Chief Product Officer at 1Spatial added
“The adoption of Advanced Digital Technologies is a priority for our customers, as they all demand process improvement, quality enhancement, and automation. These types of improvements are critical in giving people highly secure seamless access, processing and management capability for their data. Our customers cannot afford for access to good quality data to be the barrier to their AI, cloud-computing or real-time processing needs. These releases will help everyone de-risk those digital strategies, deliver the right solutions more quickly, and get those solutions the users and data contributors faster. It is great to continue to see these types of releases help increase the time to value for everyone.”
