AGI Foresight Conference 2025

Giving insight into the issues we believe will have a significant impact on our economy, environment and society. The report will both observe and challenge the current role of Geographic Information (GI) in relation to these issues.

Described as the first of its kind in the UK, the AGI Foresight Conference 2025 has been curated to support the launch of the Foresight Report. The report is the result of a 12-month project exploring the opportunities and challenges facing the geospatial sector over the next five years, exploring six forces that will help shape geospatial. The report, and the Foresight Conference agenda, challenge the geospatial community to transition from speciality domain to critical infrastructure.

The programme features opportunities to explore the six themes of the report in a highly collaborative and interactive environment, with Agora based sessions led by industry and sector leaders. These sessions will provide a space for innovative thinking, nurturing of ideas, and challenging debate.

Event sponsors; CGI, Esri UK, MGISS, and Ordnance Survey will also host a session providing industry insights, and the AGI’s Early Career Network will provide a voice for future geospatial leaders.
