Engaging and building a strong and inclusive GI community within Greater Manchester and neighbouring areas
The AGI Greater Manchester Network is delighted to announce our next in-person event, taking place on Thursday 23rd October. This session will focus on the use of GIS and geospatial information in nature restoration, showcasing how colleagues are applying geospatial tools and techniques to support environmental projects and outcomes.
We’ll be hosted at Jacobs’ offices in central Manchester, where attendees will hear from a range of speakers sharing their experience and insight into using GIS and GI in nature restoration initiatives. After the presentations, we’ll continue the conversations over informal drinks at a nearby venue.
This event is an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow geospatial professionals from across Greater Manchester and beyond. Whether you are already working in nature restoration or simply interested in learning more about how GIS supports the environment, we look forward to welcoming you.
