Southampton Geospatial is excited to share that we will be hosting the 3rd Summer School on “Advances in Geospatial Data Sciences” from the 13th to the 17th of July 2026 at Highfield Campus, Southampton.
This five-day interdisciplinary programme is designed to balance theory and practice, combining structured practical training, expert guest speakers and a guided learning journey from core principles to advanced geospatial workflows.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with recent developments in geospatial data sciences across a range of themes, including:
- Remote Sensing
- Machine Learning
- Geospatial AI and its applications
- Geospatial AI ethics
- Geospatial data sources
- Open source computing
- UAV data collection and processing
The format will include interactive lectures and practical sessions to support an interdisciplinary approach to solving real-world problems.
