On the 9 April 2025 our AGI Early Career Professionals hosted a webinar titled ‘What can geospatial organisations offer you?
The webinar was opened and facilitated by Will Jones, Principal Geospatial Analyst – Geospatial Services at NHS South, Central and West, who provided an overview of the agenda.
Cerys Butterill Co-Chair for the AGI Early Careers Network provided an overview of the network, which is run by early career professionals who aim to provided support, resources, networking and development opportunities. Cerys also provided an overview of other events hosted and attended by the AGI ECN.
Members and non-member were encouraged to join the ECN on LinkedIn and sign up to be a member of the AGI and subscribe to hear more from ECN.
Cerys also used this opportunity to confirm that AGI ECN are currently recruiting for volunteers and have open positions for, events, vice chair, Scotland and Northern Ireland representatives. If you are interested in any of these roles, please feel free to contact our AGI Member Support
They were joined by Paul Naylor, British Cartographic Society President and Liz Fox-Tucker CGEOG Professional and Policy Manager, Royal Geographical Society with IBG who both provided provided an overview of their organisation and their range of membership levels and benefits available.
