Future Skills for Geo: Integrating BIM, Digital Twins, and Geospatial Intelligence
AGI Education and Skills Network were pleased to hold their first webinar of 2026 on Thursday 25 February.
As highlighted in the AGI Foresight Report 2030, the geospatial sector is at a critical inflection point. The rise of AI, Digital Twins, and data-driven decision-making demands a new generation of professionals equipped with multi-disciplinary skills. Traditional boundaries between geospatial, engineering, and construction are dissolving, creating an urgent need for education and professional development that fosters adaptability and collaboration.
The webinar led by David Gawley, BIM Consultancy Director from Pentagon Solutions who shared his experience bridging BIM, asset management, document management, and geospatial systems and what this means for the future of skills.
