The AGI are pleased to release the programme for the UK’s first Foresight Conference on 13th November 2025 at the Royal Geographical Society in London, marking the launch of the Foresight Report 2030.
This landmark report, developed over 12 months, explores six transformative forces shaping the geospatial sector: the Data Imperative, AI Integration Challenge, Infrastructure Evolution, Collaboration Imperative, Earth Systems Revolution, and Skills Revolution.
AGI Co-Chairs Peter ter Haar and Fergus Craig emphasize the sector’s reconstitution and call for action across stakeholders. The conference will feature Agora-style discussion sessions led by sector experts, which aim to engage the geospatial community in securing a successful transformation underpinned by deliberate action, sustained collaboration and a commitment to integration.
Keynote speaker Ed Parsons, Google’s first Geospatial Technologist, will address “new solutions to the same old problems,” joined by leaders from Amentum, AtkinsRéalis, Idox Geospatial, 1Spatial, and the North Sea Transition Authority.
Join us for this ‘must attend’ event of 2025 for the geospatial community.
