Geospatial professionals, fostering collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing across the geographic information community in Greater Manchester
The AGI Greater Manchester Network is dedicated to supporting and connecting professionals, organisations, and individuals working with geographic information (GI) within Greater Manchester and surrounding areas.
Our network promotes the use and understanding of geospatial data and technologies by sharing knowledge of current GIS applications, emerging trends, and new or forthcoming innovations in GI.
We bring together members from the public, private, academic, and third sectors to explore the value of location-based insight in addressing real-world challenges and driving innovation in the region.
Every few months, we host engaging networking events that bring together professionals from across the industry. Each event features talks from 3 to 4 inspiring speakers who share insights, experiences, and ideas on relevant topics. The topics of the talks varies for each event and is determined on suggestions from our members. After the talks, we head to a nearby venue for drinks where we continue conversations, make new connections, and strengthen our community.
