In a first for the EEO-AGIS seminar series we are doing a collaborative event with Geomob Edinburgh. Geomob provides a relaxed forum to learn about and discuss geoinnovation in any and all forms. They do this via regular in-person events and their weekly podcast.
Rather than just a single speaker, Geomob invites multiple speakers to provide insightful and thought–provoking talks on a wide range of geospatial topics. For this combined event we will have the following fantastic speakers:
- Dave Craig – Soundscape Using protomaps for audio description
- Kira Myers from ECCI – TBD
- Amy Tyndall from EOLAS Insight – Overground, underground, puffins… there’s three!
- Euan Mitchell from Space Intelligence – Pantropical cocoa and coffee mapping for EUDR compliance
The seminar will be kicking off slightly later than usual at 6pm, but we will be opening the seminar room from 5.30 for mingling and drinks / snacks so please feel free to come along ahead of the talks.
