AGI Scotland CV Review Event 2024

Are you currently studying GIS or related subjects such as location intelligence, digital geography, or geospatial analysis, to pursue a career utilising your newly acquired skills? Perhaps you’re a recent graduate looking to transition your academic qualifications into real-world practice. Alternatively, you may currently work in a field where GIS is tangentially related or only marginally integrated into your daily tasks, leaving you considering a career change but unsure of how to proceed or if your skills are relevant.

The Association for Geographic Information (AGI) is a diverse and passionate membership organisation dedicated to meeting the needs of professionals working in the GI and Geospatial fields. No matter where you are on your career journey, AGI is the ideal place to seek career guidance and connect with individuals who share your passion and interests. Our sub-committee, the Early Career Network, was established in response to high demand from individuals seeking their first job in the sector, looking to transition into the field, or aiming to advance their careers in the geospatial sector. Wherever you find yourself on your journey, we are here to provide support.

On June 5th, we will be hosting our popular career event in the heart of Edinburgh, from 2-4 pm at Edinburgh Climate Change Institute (ECCI) near the University of Edinburgh. If you can spare a couple of hours of your time to have your CV reviewed by seasoned professionals in the field, this is an opportunity not to be missed!

High School Yards Teaching Centre
The University of Edinburgh, High School Yards, Edinburgh, EH1 1LZ
