We are delighted to extend a warm welcome to the 2023/2024 EEO-AGIS seminar series. We are building an exciting agenda of speakers from academia, industry and government who will be discussing new trends, research and innovation in GIS and Earth Observation.
Our first talk in the series will be Professor James Cheshire from University College London at 5pm on the 6th October, in the Institute of Geography on Drummond Street. James will be talking about the power and politics behind map making, please see below for the full title and summary.
Further talks are already being finalised for November, January and February and we will provide details on these soon. We are also planning on sharing the talks online for those that can’t attend in person, details for this will follow.
We very much look forward to seeing you either in person or online for the first in what should be a series of exciting and thought-provoking seminars.
